Teacher Appreciation Week
I cannot begin to thank you all for the wonderful gifts the children brought in all week. Each day was so special! I really did feel appreciated.
Also, the lunches we had all week were great. What a treat!
ReadingOur story next week is about a group of deaf children who attend a concert.
The vocabulary words are: deaf, hearing, instruments, percussion, signs, and vibration.In phonics we will work on the -tion and -sion ending.
The comprehension skills of noting details, making inferences, and sequencing events will be covered.
ScienceWe are continuing to learn about healthy foods. Over the week end please help your child cut out the panel on a item in your pantry that has the nutrition facts listed.

Friday, May 18th the children will be dismissed at noon.
Bubble AssemblyThe children had an assembly with bubble on Wednesday. It was terrific!!
Library Books
All library books are to be returned to school by May 21st.
The OLSAT results are in the office. If you would like a copy please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to school with your child and the results will be mailed to you. You can also pick up the results in the office IF you call ahead and tell them you are coming.
