Happy Saint Patrick's Day
Writing Workshop
We will have a reading/writing workshop that focuses on writing a personal narrative. Your child will choose a topic, write an introduction, beginning, middle, end, and conclusion. Help your child recall something special they did like a big vacation or important event. This will help prepare them for their writing assignment.
MathWe will begin our chapter on fractions on Monday. We took the chapter test Friday.
Teacher Institute
Tuesday, March 20th is an Institute Day. The children do not have school. The teacher will be meeting on that day. Tuesday was chosen because there will be voting in our building and the district felt it was safer not to have children present with so many people from the area.
Spring Break
As I am sure you know, there will be no school the week of March 26th due to spring break...can you believe it! The year is going too fast!!
We are out of glue sticks. If you could pick up a package when you are out shopping to donate to the classroom I would really appreciate it.
