Our story in reading next week is Brothers and Sisters. In this story a variety of brothers and sisters tell us about their families.
In phonics we will cover the -er ending in two syllable words.
Our comprehension strategy is generalizations.
The vocabulary words are: newborn, distract, twins, pest, teenage.
Our grammar lessons will discuss verbs.
Field Trip
Monday, March 12th is our field trip to College of DuPage to see a musical review of Fancy Nancy and other story books.
MathWe are still working on learning to measure things using various instruments. We will finish the chapter on Friday.
