Math

We are continuing to work on strategies for subtracting.

Star of the Week

Our special student this week was Ashley. Ashley has one brother. Her favorite colors are cold and silver. She likes horses, nachos, swimming, music, math, gym, art and spelling. Her favorite books are the Magic Tree House series. When Ashley grows up she wants to be a spy.

Social Studies

We are learning about maps and the globe in social studies.

Writing

The children worked on their stories all week. It was great that they all came with an idea about what to write about. Thank you for your help with this assignment. The stories will hang in the room for everyone to see. They should all be proud of their hard work.

Ide Book Fair

The Book Fair was a great success. Thank you all who were able to come and support this very important fund raiser.

Magazine Drive

The first Magazine "Turn in Day" is scheduled for Tuesday, September 20th. Your support is appreciated.
